Chicka Chicka Boom Boom in the Classroom!

What a fun week! We created Chicka Chicka Boom Boom trees!  It was so much fun (and a little difficult at times) to tear the paper into small pieces.

All of the students have learned how to scan the QR codes and listen to the songs about letters.  They also scanned a code and listened to their favorite story...Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!

Sammy the Seal and Allie the Alligator made their appearance in Pre-K.  They loved to say words that begin with A and S.

Sammie the Seal says, "Soap!"

We love our classroom SmartBoard.  We play lots of interactive letter games during circle time.  They did a great job matching letters!

The best part of our week was when the Letter Monster (brother to the Cookie Monster) came to our classroom and took our letters and hid them outside!  We had to go on a Rescue mission to get them back safely to our classroom! The Letter Monster hid them all around school!

Can you find the letters hidden in the sand?

We ended our week with a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom snack.

  1. Aww. What a neat idea hiding the letters and making the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree snacks. I'm sure Luc didn't eat any of the fruit tho, haha. But if making trees out of it worked let me know!
